Marci Klein has been conducting on camera interviews with real people like you for over 20 years in broadcast television. She has the ability to make you feel comfortable on camera and guide you through the entire process. She has an extensive list of interview questions and will assist you to tell your own story, without the need for a narrator. Marci will never appear in your documentary, even though she conducted the interview.
Marci will arrive at the time you selected with the camera and audio equipment. She may ask to move things in your home around a little bit, but will return everything to it’s original place upon clean up. She brings a very small amount of equipment to capture your audio and video, and takes up to an hour to set up. Once set up, she will talk with you and explain how the interview works. She’ll get you warmed up on camera and then your stories will start to emerge on tape. Once finished with your interview, she may ask to get a little video tape of you around your home, looking through photo albums, walking about the kitchen, things you would normally do anyway.
She may ask you to locate specific photographs, and give you a wish list of pictures that she would like to include in your video. Any photographs that she takes with her will be scanned and returned to you.
It takes about an hour to break down and put everything in it’s original place, and off she will go taking the video tapes with her. The next time you see Marci she will have your completed documentary in hand.
